1927 Model T Tudor Sedan
The 1927 Tudor was one of three chassis and assorted body parts that I purchased from a business associate in Jacksonville, Alabama in 1984. The cars were stored outside in an overgrown field. We had to mow the grass just to view what was there. This T had the most complete body. I felt that everyone should restore at least one Ford Model “T”. Now I had three.
I finished the 1927 Tudor Sedan in 1986. It was painted olive drab green with black fenders and had wire wheels painted a muted red over a black chassis. The interior was an original style, muted green striped fabric from LeBaron Bonney. I sold this car before even driving it in 1986. It was essentially “show-ready”. Of all the “T’s” that I restored, this one was the most complete, accurate and original.
The picture above is of a 1926 Model T Tudor Sedan. While I have no picture of the actual car I finished, this car is very similar in appearance to the 1927 that I restored (just add red wheels).
